Devorac VS qwerty

Qwerty, though I sometimes wish I had a Dvorak. Friend of mine uses it and swears by its efficiency.

I know I could remap the keys, but that wouldn't make it any easier.

I have qwerty and I believe I will stick with it... It's too late to learn all the letter placements again haha...

 

The main two different computer keyboard styles. You have qwerty keyboard style. (under the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6; you'll have qwerty, and that's the name of the keyboard(or commonly used name).


qwerty, don't care enough to change, i'm used to qwerty, and I'm not too big on keyboard efficiency unless it doubles my speed.

 

Just stick to Qwerty. It's far more common so if you end up using someone else's computer at some point you won't have to always stare at the keyboard like some drooling monkey.

Qwerty. Never even heard of "Devorac" untill this thread.

 

I still use the "outdated" Qwerty configuration, mostly because I think it will be a bummer to adjust, and also because most keyboards in the world use the Qwerty config. Although, I can easily change my keyboard to a Dvorak config by just swapping the keys around, and changing some settings on the OS.

How is Dvorak any better than Qwerty? Someone enlighten me.

On topic: I've used Qwerty all my life, so I can't possibly dream of changing types now.

 

Qwerty. Yea, like pretty much all, i couldn't imagine changing. Even in the above picture i couldn't find letters for like a good 45 secs.

Dvorak was designed to allow for more efficient and faster typing.

It just never established itself. Qwerty has always dominated.
