Any RS blackmarket guides?

Are there any threads here that explain the fundamentals in trading USD for in-game items for Runescape? the methods used and how it works, anyone?

 

Ya.... you sell the item for USD and trade price in game.

 

i know, but say if you wanted to buy an expensive item like a phat, do you NEED to have 450-500M gp along with the USD to make the trade work? and say purple phat's price is 100$, if i wanted to pay 150$ for it to cover the in-game expenses, would that ever work, if it does is it common among blackmarket trades?

 

No standard procedure is to pay USD and the gp for the item, no one will be willing to get you the gold on your account then sell the item. If you dont have enough gold, you will have to purchase some from a gold seller or something before you will be able to buy a phat.

 

so in reality phats cost 700$ minimum?

 

i think the blue phat ( most expensive ) is about $500 +

the rest are cheaper

 

i mean having to pay for in-game expense too, im familiar with the phat prices now, but im wondering if having 450-500M rsgp is a requirement in order to pay USD for a rare phat, say if i wanted to buy a red, I would have to pay 200$ or so, along with trading 500M gp, that amounts to 700$ total right?

 

Correct. If you do not have any in-game gold then you'll need to either make some, or pay someone to to give it to you. There is no way to transfer items like partyhats magically, you have to pay trade price and USD.
