    DMV understanding help

So I had my DMV test and my examiner has failed me and i recieved about 18 errors which is over the passing score. I noticed that on my turns, I've gotten 9 checks on Traffic Check and 1 check on yield ( when I was not suppose to yield. ) Can somebody explain to me how I failed? I don't exactly understand what traffic check is? On Approaching the turns, I recieved 4 checks listed for Traffic checks. Stopping at turns, I recieved 3 , and turn/completing, i recieved 2.

You make sure you look left, right, then left again before you start going from a stop sign and when your making a right hand turn on a red light make sure you have enough time to catch up to speed of the oncomming traffic so you dont have to speed and the drivers behind you wont have to break

Obvious, I have done that, I just don't know why my examiner would check me off. Something about the red light, I stopped behind the pedestrian line and looked left and right and then rolled over a bit and looked to my left to see if any oncoming traffic and then proceeded to my designated lane which is the very right. I had a Male instructor btw, I think he didn't spot me on my " blind spot checks ". Do I have to tell him?

It's very likely that he did not see. And yes, you have to make everything very noticeable. You can even make it ridiculous like slow-motion acting and it is needed sometimes because people can make mistakes and do not realize your actions well enough.

At the beginning of the test, ask them if they want you to voice what you're doing.

If you voice what you're doing i.e. "Putting indicator on, checking for traffic as I'm merging", they'll be a lot more likely to be able to tell that you know what you're doing.

    :)

Your instructor was probably just a dick. You'll probably get a better one next time.

He talked about an examiner, not an instructor. Or I guess you meant an examiner instead of an instructor.
