    Thinking of starting a Priest

    What stats should I focus on and what's the best leveling spec?

    It may be an idea to level as disc, penance does decent damage and you can get fast Qs for dungeons.

    For all leveling specs focus on stam then int then spirit

    I made a preist the other day, after the talent changes and whatnot. Personally I would go for shadow, it's good for damage and you also get a spell which does damage and reduces movement speeds of enimies, which is really handy when leveling. Besides you can always go disc or holy later when you're more confidant with healing.

    I quit wow while ago but i had a lvl 80 preist.

    Dps as shadow is beast xD

    and disc healing is great but confusing/hard at first.

    For leveling I'd go disc or holy quick dungeon queues.

    stat priority for priests int/spellpower>spirit>stam

    shadow priests are amazing in pvp and pve man.. If they appeal start one up. :)

    Most people will say Shadow is the best leveling spec...that may be true for levels 1-20ish. But when I played a priest I found a Discipline healer to be the pinnacle of the specs I've tried. Not only are healers insta-join in dungeon Q's, but being the most essential part of the team is the funnest part.

    My advice: Holy or Discipline

    Shadow, because questing is 500x faster than dungeons.
