    Sweating Issues.

I'll get right to the point by saying that I sweat a lot. Especially my palms, they are always sweaty and clammy, basically 24/7. It really sucks for me cause I do get made fun of a lot for it and it has grossed a few people (girls x.x) out. I also tend to sweat anytime I do something strenuous, even if it's not that much. Does anyone else have problems like this, and does anyone know what I could do with my hands to not make them so sweaty and clammy?

    Do you get nervous alot?

I know it's not because of the heat because I'm pretty sure Michigan gets VERY cold in the winter.

No not really, I thought it had something to do with being nervous but when my hands are sweating like crazy while I'm taking notes in school or sitting around, it just doesn't seem like a big factor, and yeah Michigan can get pretty cold in the winter but I still sweat like its 90 degrees.

I'm 90% sure you can go see a doctor about this and they can help you out with some sort of prescription. Otherwise, I'd advise wearing a lot of antiperspirant and deodorant, and to try not to wearing light clothes that you can easily see sweat stains on.

As what was previously said above, I'd go to the doctor. They also have deodorant which is made for heavy sweating. I myself tend to get hot and sweat whenever I'm nervous.

my palms sweat all the time no matter what's going on.
it gets rather annoying because it does gross people out.
nothing I've found to do about it beside like putting talc on your hands, but then you just look dumb.

This happens to me a little.. It's pretty annoying cuz it mostly happens when Im around girls I like..

I just air them a little, so if Im walking, Ill swing my hands with my palms open a little, nothing too obvious. It normally does the trick.

A girl told me a story of her friend:
her friend had the same problem as yours, and one day said "guys help me, my hands are being inundated"
Of course, the girl who told me the story and her peers laughed like crazy, even though it was a serious situation (solely because of the way she said it. Inundated, like a flood, lol)

    But I hear that she's able to control the sweating by wearing cotton gloves of some sort;
I"ll ask the girl. Will get back to you asap

Sweating too much can really be a medical issue especially palm sweating. I have few friends who also have palm sweating, their palms sweat and when you touch their palms, you can feel the weird coldness. Some of these friends also live in hot areas, like 38C degree and their palms still sweat and are still cold. Sadly though, I haven't heard any of them got cured successfully yet. You may try.

I'm not unfit though, I'm 6'1" and weigh 160-170 pounds, and I play soccer. I'm not a fat guy, I do have a little fat on my stomach but thats it.

    Read above answer ^

It's not really my armpits that sweat, its my back and palms mostly, and I wear clothes that you can't see stains in because it gets embarrassing. I am thinking about trying to see a doctor but I was just seeing if anyone knew any home remedies or something like that.

Thanks for all the responses :)

Deodorant only lessens odor, it doesn't stop sweating I believe.

I do not take any medicine.

Occasionally they are clammy, but usually when its really hot, they sweat and are really warm.

I can use regular antiperspirant deodorant, my armpits don't sweat much, it's my back and palms.

Do you stay hydrated? This might sound weird at first, but don't drink as much water. I stay very hydrated throughout the day and I sweat, however days I forget to bring water or don't drink a lot, I barely sweat (even during PE runs). Don't deprive yourself, just don't drink loads of water. I recommend experimenting with this a bit.

    I sweat a lot too.
I think it's from my dad though, he has to have a fan on even when it's like -20 degrees.
