What New Things Does CoD: BO Bring to the Table?

I still haven't picked up a copy of COD: BO, and even though I probably will eventually, I just want to know what new things this game brings from MW2.

When I first heard about BO I figured it wouldn't and couldn't be too different from MW2 (Multiplayer Wise). I figured mostly the campaign would be new and better, and hopefully longer. Is this true?

I can see the multiplayer has some new features which are exciting (New Game modes, new weapons, New KS, CoD Points), and I'm sure playing on live with friends will be fun as always. From what I've heard most of the annoying things that were in MW2 have been dealt with, what is your take on this and how do you feel the balancing of the games and maps are?

Just want to get opinions from different people in one thread about how this compares to MW2 in both Single and Multiplayer aspects.

the campaign is rated 10/10 overall absolutely perfect i heard. probably takes like 6hrs to finish.

the multiplayer is perfectly balanced, it seperates the bad players from the good. i've noticed in school people are getting pissed about how the graphics are different from mw2, how lame the maps are and the guns, the killstreaks. but they arn't real gamers imo..i personally don't the like maps either because it's so much like waw, the spawn system is a bite in the ass.

I have also heard the Spawning System sucks....I doubt it is perfectly balanced though but I hope it is more balanced than MW2 as that game had some pretty cheap stuff. Despite all the 'noob' guns and things in MW2 I still enjoyed it quiet a bit. Is BO as enjoyable, if not more...also could someone explain CoD points a bit more....does it allow you to buy anything (perks, weapons, equipment) at anytime, and do you have to pay for new equipment every time you go in a match? (Kind of like CS)

Balance. Although there are a few problems but Treyarch have said they're addressing those in the next patch which should be within 1 or 2 weeks.

I haven't played MP much so can't say anything about it.

The campaign was fun, the story was less predictable, previous characters from WaW were used well, and the suspense makes you sort of wonder what the hell's going on. Unlike in MW2, where they keep saying "It's a one way trip," but in the end, they all come out alive. Fucking unreal?

Zombie is the same as before, except in a new place.

Graphics is pretty much the same as previous games with minor improvements.

I like the COD points system a lot better than the unlocks of MW2. In this one, you can buy any upgrade for a weapon and any perk at any time, provided you have the cash. You DON'T have to suffer using a "naked weapon" or constantly getting owned using lower perks until you levelled up to a higher one.

You still have to level up to access all of the Equipment (like claymores), but the req level is fairly low.

It is all pretty good, but the spawning system is horrible on some maps.

Spawning system was pretty bad in MW2 as well...too many times I can see myself die twice in the same killcam, or the guy I kill spawns behind me and shoots me.

As others have said, the spawn system really sucks. So do the killstreaks imo. Highest is Gunship and Attack dogs both at 11 kills which tbh is too low. It's all good until you get the 11 kills, but then I really can't see the point in going further unless you're going for a good flawless game. Though I haven't seen much attack dogs yet, so I can't comment on that.

The single player was amazing but the multiplayer still has it's downsides here and there but I hope they get fixed.

On some maps the spawn system is terrible.

It's because the killstreaks in this game don't count towards others.. For example in MW2 you could call your harriers then let them get 4 kills then use your Chopper Gunner... In this game you actually have to get those 4 kills yourself to get the next killstreak.

Some of the multiplayer is quite bad.

Sniping is horrid at the moment, but they intend to address it.

The guns you start with are REALLY bad, id like to see SOME improvement in those ( yes i understand you aren't suppose to start with beast guns )

In my opinion, Tomahawking ( In sticks and stones - wager match ) is WAY to easy. I get about 6 set backs a game.

Money should be earned depending on xp, IE i can get 30k xp a game, and only get 1k Cod Points, i can get 5k xp a game and get 3k god points : \

The diffuse/plant noise in S&D should be added back as well.
