You won't get much money from selling, sell it to someone and he will think he can easily make more money than what to make. BS gold doesn't sell good.

Thieving bots are already out.. There's going to be a reset sometime soon.

 

They ban people running the bots all the time. Eventually they'll start IP banning and the botting will stop. Whilst a dupe results in a ruined economy and an absolute, indefinite number of resets will occur.

Use your brain, it's in there somewhere.

 

They already have... But you can still create a new account... Hence people are still botting.

Inflation is already occurring with a bot. 3 accounts with 99 thiev = 150m+ over 12-15 hours. Multiple 150 x 20 = 3,000,000,000 gp in 15 HOURS. So 3b in 15 hours. Roughly 6b in 24 hours. And there's easily over 60 accounts botting there. Sure, a dupe would ruin the economy faster if rares are being duped and given out for free. But thieving is doing it as we speak. So if you want to save your precious few until there's a reset because of thieving, that's fine. Or release the dupe and have a reset in a matter of days. Then continue duping.

Ultimately, it's his call.

They're probably patching the thieving bots, and your dupe as speak. Also, once a reset occurs, they'll take the game down until they've worked out the dupe and patched it. Palidino doesn't give a fuck but his staff do.

 

I was just about to day that, too.
Palidino really doesn't care about his server much anymore. All he cares about is the money getting sent to his PayPal.

Here's an example. BattleScape rules states you cannot sell BS gold for things such as IRL money. However, you CAN buy Gold Membership for BS gold, only because he is receiving the money.

The only way for the dupe and a method to stop thieving bots would happen is if it crossed paths with the payments for Gold Membership.

The games run by a couple of people who do things on a volunteer basis. It's going to take a little bit longer than what we would consider acceptable, but it's certainly not finished forever.

Have a little bit of patience and it'll be up again soon.
