Pins/Account Upgrades

Why is the selling of Pins now against the rules, aren't Account Upgrades the same thing?

I mean how do we know that the upgrades aren't illegal as well?

I need more information please.

 

Pins are illegal because they are obtained illegally.

Account Upgrades are basically pins, but they could also be ultimate gamer cards, or an alternative method.

Account Upgrades you don't ask questions on how the person receives the membership. So that means it could be illegal or it could be legal, who knows?

Pins are flat out illegal so selling them in frowned about in this establishment.
