EDIT: Apparently I misread his point, never mind.

    First off read this: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=7455194#post7455194

Finn I mean no disrespect to you but do you know what this can cause? Deleting all those stickies now makes it where some one can just post random stuff with no pictures to verify they even own the account and sell it to a new person who doesn't know much about trading. Those pictures are necessary to letting others know about the account and not just taking the sellers word on it. Perhaps the offense history picture can be taken down but besides that the rest are very important. People will be making offers on accounts that don't even exist and will just be a waste of time. I implore you to re-think your decision, it could save a lot of traders time and money.

I'm lost. Did we just totally get rid of all picture requirements altogether?

I don't think Finn clearly outlined "which stickies" may be removed. By what Plznate was complaining about, if all of those were removed, and the pictures no longer required, scammers just got an early Christmas present.

I hope that which stickies that can remove / rules can be changed will be clearly defined soon, and/or that a Global/Market Mod will question these changes before they are made.

Plznate needs to become a lobbyist. He always gets his way. That could be a new service, maybe?

I think Finn meant the Offense and login screens being always needed that is removed.

And you need to learn how and when to be quiet.

Login screens are not needed tbh. Just the member to state if it has recovs or emails.

offence pillars screen i find to be extremely important. But only if it has offences. If it doesn't have any, then its not needed.

The rules of pictures needs to be changed, but not removed completely.

Most new sellers are not totally honest on the accounts previous offences, and only show green pillars missing the actual offence list.

Meh, you misread what Finn said. I too think it's an annoyance having to repeatedly take unnecessary pictures and time to upload them.

    Pretty sure you mean disrespect.

Hypocrite. You'd honestly be better off just not talking entirely. You're 15 years old, this wasn't what your guidance counselor was talking about when she said you needed to try and find some extracurricular leadership roles. You have no place speaking about maturity.

Offense pillar should be shown regardless otherwise anyone can just say it has no offenses and no one would think anything of it - and MM's/OMM's don't always check that.

I say keep in the offense pillar requirement.

Pictures prove nothing when they're the exactly the same each time. I understand it's for safety measures but in all reality it's just like using the same lock to an unlimited supply of safety deposit boxes, once you have one you access to them all.

If there was a way to tell a difference between the photos, I'd be the complete opposite.

    I say keep the login//stats.

The offences are not a big deal, but the login picture is honestly what separates a good account sale from a bad.

The login and stats are something that would need to stay. I just think the offences are a load of crap. The bank and quests are something that's completely not needed because it's something shown before sale anyways on msn.

I agree with Gohan. Keep login/stats, offences only matter if it was offences on it and is critical.

I agree; if the trader sees it necessary to show the offences, then let them, but it shouldn't be in the stickies.

And it's funny because I'm pretty sure I started this whole sticky thing when I was a market mod.

Only problem is, thats the easiest thing to fake.

Like anyone can have two accounts, one a fresh lvl 3 with no offences and and nothing on the login screen, and use that for any other account they are selling.

The pictures of the account itself are what is important. Naturally one could put some effort into google or photoshop creating a fake account, but that is much more difficult to do.

Posting the login and offences, to me, is somewhat like saying.... I need to screenshot the money in my paypal before every purchase to prove I have it. Bad analogy, but you get the point, its useless if it can be faked or reused over and over again.

But even pictures of the account can be faked. Anything can be faked. Honestly in the end you don't need any pictures as long as you use a Middleman.
