    Anyone familiar with BackTrack 4?

Any familiar with or use BackTrack 4 or BackTrack 4 - R1?
I'm having a few problems using it and need a few general questions answered. Tried the official forums but they are a bunch of dicks.

Yea I use it for wifi stuff too. But version 4 is such a pain now because it has grown too big to fit a CD, now you have to burn it onto a DVD or use it off a flash drive. Also, memory requirement also increased.

Drivers for network cards in Linux are limited in general, especially ones that work for wifi stuff.

Haha, hey man. Yer i've really dropped off the radar. Still lurk a little bit here and there.

Damn, so my best bet would be to find a supported card list then go buy a usb wifi dongle?

Yea that's a very safe bet.

Although you can try just plugging in all of your wifi usb adapters to see any of them may work. Some of them that work on Linux and can capture wireless packets and stuff but may not work for MAC spoofing. If you can find one that can capture packets, AND MAC spoofing, that would be best.
