I know it's not really an "active" forum but it's not completely dead. We really need a mod ATM Alternez is supposed to be modding it as he said he was going to but there has been many people ignoring the stickys posting "I like it!" and no matter how many times they get reported nothing ends up happening. It get's really annoying as I post lots of work trying to get CnC and it just gets filled up with useless attempt to get post count up. On another note the SOTW (signature of the week) pole was supposed to go up ages ago and never has.


My suggestion on what to fix is picking a current mod or a new one to keep an eye on reports.

Can your post be any more blatantly obvious that you want to be the new GFX mod? I think Alteranz is fine running the section. If not then it wouldn't hurt to bring back KIABIN or tr1bal...

 

What are you talking about?? No were have i even attempted to suggest that. I just want the section to be ran properly as it isn't getting ran right. I would LOVE KIABIN or Tr1 to come back.

 

I think w00t would do a fine job in there tbh. Alteranz does a good job, with his new global duties, he is busy helping out everywhere else too. I see no reason as to not incorporate a new GFX specific sectional.

 

Firsts things first; I AM on the lookout for a prospective new Graphics moderator - so none of you need worry about this.

Please bear in mind I have been away for the last 2 days surfing and have been unable to do ANY moderating of any sort. I'm only just getting back in to the swing of things now that my school year is tying up, and the first week or so of sussing out my duties and updating threads/stickies has taken up the majority of my time. In the next few days I will be doing a complete sweep of the section - this involves cleaning threads, updating my PSD distribution sticky, putting up Kiabin's old SOTW for the vote FINALLY, etc etc.
If you DO see any posts/threads that don't adhere to the stickies or rules, then report them - it only takes a few seconds, and we'll be sure to take care of them.

Don't think I've forgotten about it - Tyro has given me the all clear for how things are working at the moment.

 

A side-note:
I have just been sent some of the most amazing graphics work I've ever laid my eyes on, and this artist could quite possibly be the biggest contender for the moderator position-

 

I'd vote for anyone who could GFX that well.

 

To be honest, I agree, Gfx is never active, and it makes me sadface. . w000t has been at the gfx section for a year or more and in my opinion he would do a good job. JS. But sythe is in need of a gfx mod definitely. It would be awesome if Tribal comes back, hes amazing.

 

I would like a GFX mod, I have been in the gfx section for a while and there is a lot of spamming going on.

 

The section is viewed as a place to get your post count up by newer members.

I agree, It really gets annoying when you see the same post by a leecher on every thread saying the EXACT same thing.
