What's going on with NeXus Client?

Every time I run it, the auth panel doesn't respond for like 5 minutes. Then, when it finally does and I run the client, it doesn't load. It sits on that loader screen (the ones that's always on top of everything) and then disappears.

What's going on? Anyone else get the same problem?

 

I'm getting the same problem, sometimes the auth panel doesn't even open for me I have to try several times.

Got the latest version tho :S

Quest, I have the same problem, but it works with version 21.409 that I have running already.

Yes, I found a link to rsbots.net (lost it), but here is what one of the people there said; and a moderator confirmed it. (excuse the language)

its cause the theres a shitload of ppl updating their clients, and this is causing the server to slow down and drop packets here and there.... just leave your panel up for a couple of mins, and it should correct itself... it will be fixed shortly.



Contrary to that, when I leave my auth panel up it just closes itself, not corrects itself

Not a solution.




EDIT: Although I have the most updated version, after leaving my auth panel up it told me to download the latest version. I clicked yes, and now the bot client won't even open up to the auth panel.

21.411 is working for me, but I started it at around 5 AM est so it could be something new going on that is messing with your connection to the auth panel server... I dunno what to say, at least it's finally possible to connect to .net at all to download the new clients without using a proxy.

I'd be careful using it right now anyway as the client doesn't seem to be recognizing randoms.

Mine is closing down after I open it as well. Hopefully everything will be fixed shortly.
