Korasi's Sword

1. I want to know your opinion on the sword in general, both special and regular stats

Me: i personally have a "korasi's pure" all i did was turn my acc into a ini pure counting the 10 def and get 3 atk lvls to 78 and pk with that thing. I Personally love pking with it, hate pking against it ;D i mostly brid with it since i can easily escape one of those specs, and bridding is kind of an excuse for safing :]
2. Do you think it will ever be nerfed?

Me: No, i personally dont think and dont want it to be nerfed. I do think they might raise the price for the replacement, but it wouldn't be the first time they nerf something. Every1 remember the anchor? yea that btch owned b4 it was nerfed. and it only cost 500k to replace (correct me if im wrong )

So now i wanna hear your answer to those 2 questions :]​

 

anchor had been jacked to 500k to replace, they lowered it to 230k a bit after they jacked it to 500k

 

I doubt they will nerf it even though it's causing claws, godswords to crash.

I'm no expert on PKing, but I do know the economic effects of Korsai. It's a virtually no-risk item that clobbers any of the existing KO items. So it's basically going to cause a plummet to the claws and AGS, like you said. Perhaps this is intended... Korsai itself is less risk for mains/zerks/Korsai pures (which are all relatively difficult to start up) and it'll eventually cause less risk for 1 def pures because the KO weapons (i.e., claws, AGS) will be cheaper. Perhaps it's an attempt to economically revitalize PVP?

It kinda puts a big dent in boss hunting, though. Nobody goes to Arma for the armour, and nobody goes to TDs for the Platebody chunks.

 

It will either be nerfed or the price to replace it will be raised.

 

ahh. i don't think it will be nerfed, weapons are starting to find their place price wise, never in my life would i spend 120m on an AGS [back when chaotics, claws and korasi's blade weren't out] it just wouldn't happen.

glad things are lowering it means they'll be more often used, and also, it gives incentive to jagex to make bigger badass, more expensive weapons. oh and, when the fuck will we see weapons/armor that affect the players/opponents constitution levels? i remember seeing something they said about doing that, but they still haven't done shit about it.

 

i rather not have 2/3 of people in pvp clawing and ags speccing me :\ thats just my opinion..... and another overpowered weapon? no thank you, i gotta deal enough when i see korasi's godswords dclaws or cannons jump on me i dont need another one on the list

 

I think the sword should be nerfed, but that it probably won't be.

It's an attempt by Jagex to 'balance' the combat triangle, but just leaves melee off much better than mage and range again. They just don't get it.
Range and mage need some overpowered spec weapons, not melee...

 

actually... no.... i think melee has been the most put away, i rarely use melee even though im 99 str / 80 attack... i mostly use mage/range brid with a mix of some melee specs...well now mage if u count korasi's but... i think they are doing right/wrong....right, adding a little more meele, wrong... overpowering the fuck out of certain weapons

 

I don't think it's as much overpowered as people think it is.
What gives it this impression is the magic based special which is very accurate on people wearing melee armour thereby having negative magic def.
It doesn't stack up well against a tank in rags.

I still see more bullshit ags/claws ko-s than korasi specs.

 

Sounds like its about time you work on your pking skills then or stop pking all together.
Magic does need a new staff with a special that does high damage hit.

 

To he honest, its not the BEST but if your doing safe pvp, the special mixed with a special recovery potion the sword is awesome, and a bit fun

 

HA! are u being serious! u oblviously joined runescape after they added all these overpowered shit weapons. I never said i cant deal with them, i just said i hate them. i rather get a 400-400 bonesaw dds spec delt on me then a dumbass 70 str main k0ing me with a lucky dclaw spec.... these new weapons ruined everything in runescape, i still pk because its the only thing i ever do or did in runescape.

 

For all intents and purposes, Korasi's Sword is a d scim with a nasty spec. The spec makes it a viable weapon for any account, yes, I think it is very good.

I don't believe it will ever be nerfed.
