Running Two Bots At Once

Hey guys,

I'm starting up two accounts. One I'm botting to 99 hunter, and the other I want to get 99 thieving on. I would like to do it as efficient as possible, (meaning running them both at the same time) I was wondering if theres anything special that I need. I've heard of this SVN Tortoise, but not really sure how it works. I'm sure someone smarter then me could explain to me how to make this happen

If you are using the Nexus client, running two at the same time is a simple as setting up one account, twice.

 

SVN just let's you update your bot without going to the website and redownloading it.

It's only used for powerbot last time I checked, though.

 

There are no extra requirements for running two accounts at once.

It will eat more of your computer's memory, so you should have one with decent specs - other than that, though, it's the same as running one bot.

 

I would say about ~700MB of RAM for each bot you run. That's it for the requirements.

 

SVN is for downloading updates, has nothing to do with multi logging.
It's easy to multilog with Nexus or powerbot.

 

-Xmx300m sets the ceiling of the memory to 300MB...

 

It will hog more of your system, but running two bots at the same time isn't difficult, if you are using nexus, just add two bots, instead of one and it should be fine. Depending on your specs though, your computer might run slower than usual.

 

Maybe buy a VPS?

 

My bots use up to 1GB RAM each time. So I guess it depends on each bot.
