Clickable IRC link at the top of the page?

I've noticed a few people saying that the IRC is dead. I've also noticed a few comments about how people don't come in because it's 'hard' to download a client, or a hassle, or they just don't want to.

My suggestion, make something like this site has.

Right at the top right, they have 4 things to get you in to the IRC. That probably brings in tons of activity, makes it extremely simple to join, and it advertises/broadcasts that you have one right when you go to the home page.

 

I think the system is already really easy to follow now but if people are having troubles with things like that then sure if it keeps the IRC alive then I'm up for it.

BTW: Why no ex-mod?

 

Support. It's also annoying changing my skin to NextGen Lite everytime I want to enter #IRCsythe.

 

I didn't ask for it, didn't request an image, and I don't really know if I even get one considering I was demoted due to poor activity.

But yeah, it'll just make it an easier process for everyone. Thanks for the support.

I'd probably remember to log on the IRC, as well as others.
