Battlescape Thieving Bot - Keylogger

So the BS Thieving Bot that was posted on these forums along with the DL link on YouTube contains a keylogger. When you run the program, nothing pop ups. The program did change my password, but the moron didn't log onto my account and screw with it so I still have my moonies!
Just delete the file ASAP and change your password!

Maybe a mod removed it. I believe the thread is now locked. Just be careful because I scanned it and nothing was found on the file.

 

I didn't have an account yet when i downloaded it. but i noticed it opened a process called app#########.exe and i tracked it with Avast, it was a Win32:Keylogger.

u have to be careful, its very easy to "pack" keyloggers/virus's etc so that its impossible to be detected by ANY "mainstream" ANTIVIRUS/FIREWALL..

dont rely on anti-virus detection to tell you whether something is dodgy or not because they can VERY easily be fooled.
