Haha, everyone thinks its just been bots because everyone bots?

 

I've had 4 account reset lately with my methods hmmmm...

 

If it's a glitch, and only botters are getting it, I'd assume it's to the massive amounts of XP accumulated in such a short time.

Maybe it's a bug from some new macro detection schtuff

 

Not for nothing but JaGex will see to it that these low, low leveled accounts either have their stats replaced or... have their armor removed soon enough so I wouldn't count on the accounts being worth big money as it's a glitched account you know?

This scares me... a lot, does anyone know if people who were using RID got reset or not? Apparently it's "black box technology" make it the leading bot on the market. (No I'm not chirping, calling out, or harassing RID in any way, shape or form for those of you who think I might be.)

 

just got my cooking reset from 85 too 1 on my lvl 128..

 

^well if you botted, then don't send a bug report because its like handing your account to them to ban, making their job a lot easier.

i noticed, reading in the ORSF that a lot of legit players and fmods are saying that 'you should submit a bug report, should you have a stat reset' i think they know only bots are affected by this, and so they are now cheating their way into getting botters banned.

I've had 2 friends to get reset that have NEVER touched a bot or even know where to get one.

very true.. and if they did it by them self why would they? they are still banning if you bot.. and the rollbacks are random.. like i was back from 94 mining to 7?? that doesnt make sense if they did the rollback.. i think its a bug..

 

Been reading around the forums and saw a mod here and there saying to submit bug reports, and this flaws that guy saying "Botters beware" cause they wouldnt help you just to get you banned. Bugs have been created, and found since the start of Runescape this simply scared everyone who bots cause it concerns this certain area of skills. I wouldn't worry to much i submitted a bug appeal on an account i botted and the stats are back to normal. They really dont know whats going on!!!!! but if you submit an appeal they will adjust your levels accordingly they did so on mine, but what worries me is that even after they put your stats back theres rumors of it happening AGAIN....W T F

It seems to me like it happens to everyone at certain intervals because ive read post where people got there stats set back to low levels submitted a bug appeal got it put back to that level, and then the next week it was reset again at the SAME LEVEL it was reset to before.........im really lost in this area but my Runescape knowledge leads me to believe this is not done on purpose and is not targeted towards botters. This is simply flawed coding in the game........"BUGS"

 

i don't bot, the resseting is only gonna happen to botters.
Fagex is just tryig to cover it up its obvious they thought of a new way to deal with botters.

 

Your statements are COMPLETELY FALSE, sorry kid you just thinking off the top of your head is a complete fails, i got my botted accounts stats put back to normal the says your idea is flawed. Sorry.

Green098 got reset 16m of cafting, I doubt the "head Jmod" would bot...

I think Jagex are lying about the stat resets being a bug, they just realized that it was a bad ide to stat reset everyone without removing items and stuff, So they blame the whole thing on a bug..

 

A glitch? but it's happening mainly to botters, but come to think of it some of my mates got banned for botting instead of getting reset, so this actually makes sense.

 

very strange.. people with 94wc have woodcutting cape lol.. I thought jagex are reducing bots with this method, but its only a bug

 

it hasn't happened to anyone i know but this is strange.... jagex are up to something ...... this is like a movie ....... They live...! run!!

 

If this is true than it basically confirms that it is an 'automatic bug' instead of the rumor that its a 'manual reset'.
Then that leaves two options:
-An actual bug that has nothing to do with botting or not
-A secret implemented system of automatic resets based on certain characteristics which we do not know of yet
