You should change the part about trade/assist off, it may not lead to jagex detecting you but it will certainly get you reported, I've seen it many times people will try to trade you to pc or w/e then when you don't respond they start talking to you which leads to reporting you.

Pretty good guide 11/10. I also hate people who say. "OMGZ0RZ BL0CK OUT UR N4ME" I hope that with your guide people will finally understand that JAGEX CAN NOT SEE THIS SITE. Also they say "TH3Y CAN LOGIN FROM THEIR HOMES". Do you really think that they have no life and spend all their free time writing out names from a forum? LOL

Amazing guide, I agree with a large portion of it, disagree with just a little bit. The guide is amazing and I recommend any fellow botters to read this :)

Well these are both not really myths. Making your name hard to report is definitely going to reduce the actual reports sent in . Changing worlds does help you avoid getting noticed by real players, not necessarily Jagex staff. Personally, I don't do much to avoid getting reported by other players, so I'll sit on adding these for a bit. They're good suggestions, but I'm not sure if they qualify as popular myths.

I'm sure they do sometimes. Marker plants are notorious for killing bots, so they probably do it anywhere, not just sorcgarden.

Yes but the report isn't ever read. If you want to reduce reporting, then turn it off. I still believe it doesn't change your chances.

Thanks everybody for the words. :) I don't think this will ever get stickied because it's a little radical in some views. Most websites want to support overly cautious, for obvious reasons.

Wow.. You have all the answers to my questions that would have taken me hours to find the answers to. This should defiantly be stickied!

Also, nice grammar, that's a must in guides.

I read it through and noticed at least a dozen errors, but I was typing it in Word and copy+pasted it here. I'm too lazy to fish through the text to find them. :p

If a mod thinks it's stickied, I'd be all for it. I doubt it will, though. ;)

It's funny. I have done 3 48 hour sessions in a week, for weeks on end, on multiple accounts and have never gotten flagged or ban. Great guide though

Oh no I meant these as suggestions not myths lol.
Anyhow since Perf got his slayer bot working pretty much flawlessly i've been using slayer for combat/cash. Sure it may not be as effective but I think switching spots every hour and training one of the hardest skills to train will definately pay off in the long run. I basically consider it an 'alternating' autofighter lol.

I think you misunderstand Jagex's detection method. They can find you without any reports at all. How do you think the SW mass ban was happening?

Woah, man. Intense guide. Very in-depth. It answers pretty much every question that a newbie botter needs to know. And the best part about it is, I agree with everything you've posted and I've been botting for the past month.

    Good job dude.

Oh, and you're right about their detection processes. They find small glitches in the script that happen every so often, and flag you if they happen to your account. An account I was botting on got reset shortly after repeatedly clicking the wrong staircase using kMiner.
