Reset because I botted 1 skill

O well I'm doing it again, already 72 again.

Agility was the only skill I botted, rest I did legit and they still got reset :L.

1/44 pray
1/60 rc
1/70 smith
1/75 mining
1/55 cook

The funniest thing. I have agility armour still in bank so whenever I get 35 def .

I'm only pissed at wasting my time on the skills I did legit to have them reset.

Only way I guess this could of happened was when I went out I left bot going, came back sometimes and the bot had stopped for 2-3 hours and the act was still logged in...

haha jagex fails.. should of done a quest for def xp, nd then botted it , it'd be sick to see a pure with barrows gloves :|

 

I'm a bit confused about all these resetting skills lately. Does this mean that Jagex isn't banning for botting anymore? Instead they are just rolling back your skills? But anyway that sucks, hope your not to mad about the whole thing.

It depends on what you're botting.

Agi/fishing seems to end up in a reset, rest still seems to be bans.

 

Wait you got your Defense reset? They basically just handed you a pretty decent pure....

EDIT: Just noticed the list of skills, and defense isn't one. Sucks about the mining and stuff, but maybe it's good that you have 1 prayer now? Did you have the pray quested?

 

I guess Jagex has some business strategy behind it all. Maybe this is a small test and they may stop bans with macroing permanently or something. They may have figured out that most botters quit when they get banned (because its a main, etc.), but when they get their stats reset, they continue to pay for membership and just bot it up again. Not a bad business strategy. Or, they could just be tired of handing out all the ban hammers and they just felt like rolling back skills or something, idk.

What agility bot were you using, may I ask?

I've saw that JMod said that the resetting is due to a bot messing with the code, or something. I highly doubt this, but I'm wondering if maybe a free agility bot did it?

these level resets arnt from botting. there is a thread posted that some mods are saying its a bug.

 

No idea. I did bot agility though.

Lol i'm considering making an account and completing all pray quests and botting agility to maybe get my prayer reset.
Would be awsome to have ava's/dt at 1 prayer and perhaps a barrelchest anchor.

Dam, if only there was a way to guarantee getting your defence/prayer reset lol.
