P-Mod with acc banned for botting!

This was just spoken in a CC I am a part of.

 

Lol, gf player mod. Still, they don't mess with your IP so that account is safe, unless he bots on it, too.

 

I understand, but I still thought it was an odd thing to admit.

Also Rs Legends X is only about 1200 Total level, strangely low for a P-Mod.

 

I rarely see high PMods... The average PMod I see is like 100-120.

 

P-mods have no distinct level. It really bugs the crap out of me
I have a friend (level 29) who is mod and has been since 2006. I'm level 132 and beat most of her skills (except she dominates me in some by exp )
I also have the password to one of my mod friend's account which is level 90.
On the main page they claim that the combat level doesn't matter.

 

Wow I'm sorry but you have to be stupid to bot on your account if your a moderator. Seriously you can sell it for quite a lot of money it's not worth possibly loosing by boting.

 

i doubt he/she is botting on the pmod account... nobody would be that stupid
lots of people would do soo much to get hands on a one of them its simply not worth the risk

A P-mod friend of mine bought one f-cape from someone on Sythe and got a 14 day ban + demodding.

They probably regulate you more rigorously as they have more of your personal info.

That, or they just watch you more because your a pmod, popular, and they simply talk to you etc, etc.

Sorry if this is OT, but I hardly ever see P mods, and generally they're not even very high levels. I guess it would make a lot of sense, because you'd probably have to deal with annoying noobs asking you questions 24/7 instead of skilling and shit.

 

Its funny that he admitted to botting on his account that is now banned. For all we know, he does not but very seldom on his p mod account, who knows. If I was a player mod I would bot, but only babysit bot

 

The reason he has a banned account on his IP but he still got Mod is because Jagex will only not invite you if they can prove that the botted account was yours. They really can't.

The only way to really prove the same creator would be same email, recoveries, bank pin, and passwords.

Potential Mods are really only "noticed" via 2 Methods..even after you're noticed you have to be "PMod" material to get an invite:

1. Attend Events Regularly with JMods Acctive, Posting regularly in the Events Forum and having a helpful, positive attitude, Report accurately, and play the game normally.
2. Player Moderator Recommendation

 

This doesn't prove anything.

He never admitted he botted, just claimed he had high level skills but if you analyze the way he replys.. then yes I guess u can say he botted

No big deal imo though...

 

Must have been an idiot to bot on a p-mod account. Ive seen them being sold for $700+!
