Hi All,

So i've been noticing a few sythe accounts with feedback basily selling gold to another store then buying the same amount from another store for 2 Vouches? Is this allowed?

Self/Fake Vouching: Faking, stealing, or in any way attempting to pass off illegitimate vouches as legitimate will result in a 2 week ban and a TWC. Subsequent offenses will result in a permanent DNT.
Off-site vouches are not honoured on Sythe, but may be included ONLY in the body of a thread.

I Would of thought it would be a illegitimate vouch meaning it's a fake vouch?

When I used to walk people through understanding Sythe and how trusted a user is, a big thing I would point out is to look at the QUALITY of vouches, and if the person is actually being trusted with anything.
A brand new user can join sythe, buy 100m, sell 25m to 4 different people, then lather rinse repeat, going first every single time, and accumulate 100 vouches pretty easily.
It's important you do your own homework to determine if you think someone is trustworthy, and their sheer NUMBER of vouches, isn't a very good indicator. Read the vouches and find out if the user is actually being trusted or not.

 

Yeah gartec told me to maken sure I check for quality vouches, I look at the age/Vouches and the unique discord.

Do you agree with that @Sound? I think it's pretty bs, Gaining rep on sythe is near impossible for a new user so when I see people's vouch thread and there first few vouch pages are honestly nonesense.

 

Personally, I think vouches are kinda BS regardless honestly. I haven't collected a vouch in over a year because I just don't care about them anymore. People that know me know I'm trusted, and that's really all that matters to me ultimately. My discord does hundreds of orders a month, I could easily have more vouches if I wanted but it's just not something that matters to me personally.
At the end of the day, trust is earned through becoming a known figure in the community, not by a vouch page.
