I'm new to the rune crafting skill. I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions. Thanks

1. Is there a difference between 'Rune Ess' and 'Pure Ess'?
2. If I'm aiming for 1 - 99, would the best way to do it be; 1-44 do air and fire runes then 44-99 do natures?
3. How many essences would I need for 44-99?
4. What does a tiara do?

I'll answer questions one and four for you.

Rune Essence is only obtainable by F2P members. It can be used to create F2P runes only. Pure Essence is only obtainable by members with level 30 mining, when they mine essence, they receive Pure essence instead of Rune essence. Pure Essence can be used to create F2P and P2P Runes.

An air tiara is basically a talisman which is equipable. Therefore you have one extra free inventory space to carry Essence with you.

 

The best way to get 1-99 would be.

I-44 on air runes, then switch to graak natures to 99.

You can also do deaths and astrals as they make the most money.

1,442,087 pure ess is needed to get from 44-99 on natures.

Quick Bonus Question: Can members buy rune essence through the G.E ?

Yep you sure can. And no problems

 

Yeah, it can give around 20k xp an hour.

Although you do need 57 summoning.

 

Natures aren't worth it any more. Do bloods and you'll end up making 280mil, where as natures would only make you around 220mil in the same time frame.

 

Do nats 44-65 then do deaths from 65-91 or 65-82, astrals from 82-91, double nats from 91 to 99(graahking). I have 15.5m in rcing.

Would you mind telling where the death & blood altars are? And the best, quickest method to use them.

 

You need quests for both of them but use abyss.

 

For the death altar you need Mourning's End Part 2, which is very annoying/difficult. For the blood altar, you need the Legacy of Seergaze. I haven't personally done it, but I have done the prerequisites and they are somewhat annoying. I would just stick to natures until 82 then do double astrals until 91 or whatever it is for double natures.

 

Yeah, nats are still a good profit but not as good.
