How can i make AVG stop recognizing my keygen as a virus?

AVG seems to think my keygen is a virus, so i can't use it. And they deleted part of it or something because now when i use it, i get the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"

Hmm, weird. When I had AGV it recognised the file could be harmful but I just clicked ignore and it would open anyway. The fact your computer is telling you it can't recognise the path is because AGV has probably moved it to a quarantine folder or deleted it. I think if you open AGV then there should be some options where you can choose specific programs to allow, if you can find this then re-download your keygen, and before you open it set AGV to allow it, and then try opening it. Not 100% sure but hope this helps :)

I got the same "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" when i tried to add the file as an exception. And avg gave me an access is denied error.

Even if the item isn't a virus it may still be telling you it is because it knows it's illegal, etc. When I downloaded an MSN freezer (It had an unfreeze option I was attempting to use on my MSN account) my AVG popped up telling me that it was a threat.

As for preventing your AVG from recognising this, open AVG, then click tools in the top bar then click Advanced Settings. Then on the left hand sidebar click "Allowed List" From there you can add exceptions and decide which of your software is safe.

Do you have administrator permissions on your computer? Also, was it you who set up your AVG?

Unfortunately, keygens and other WareZ aren't supported on Sythe.
