Player Mod - what tactics work best?

first thing, account in question isn't my sythe named account; applying with a name that has two censored terms (suck and fag) is asking to get it banned

i've heard a lot about doing stuff with the community, and a secure pass and shit, what else?

account is almost 2050 total level, quest cape owner, played since 2004 + the only offense was in 2005 (clean slate for that old of an acct)

1) specifically; what types of community events work best?
2) can give an example of what jagex considers a secure pass?
3) which jmods respond the best to major ass kissing/sucking up? what names; MMG for example
4) is there anything that will flag you as not worthy of a mod?
5) if reporting abuse helps, which should be reported which should be ignored?

6) does getting recommended by playermods help? friend asked several of her pmod friends to reccomend me

Best advice:

 

Be a member of the community for a large amount of time.
Contribute by being active and sending in reports for rules that you notice have been broken.
Keep your offences to a minimum.
Make friends with well known players / pmods and you may get recommended.

 

Play by rules, use long password, recs, email, always help noobs in runescape and be friendly. I think after 1 year theres a lot of chance that u will become a mod

 

1. Go to lumbridge world 1 and report everyone who's exchanging rl info (oh and that's a lot, believe me)
2. Never use offensive language.
3. Have a long password containg a mix of numbers and letters.
4. Don't use a name like Suck_Me_Jagex, loL.

 

1. Use a good password like: abc618otq219aqpb615p.
2. Reporting is not the most important thing.
3. You have to be nice to players, help them, etc.
4. Recovery Questions and E-mail.
5. Posting on the forums could help.

 

i've played since 2004 on the account i want mod on, only 1 offense which was in 2005, near 2050 total, fairly active, idk what else,

what jmods respond best to ass kissing (mod mark for example) what names?

if they consider forums, i'm screwed, i trolled for hours after the hp update, made quite a few flame threads + and trolling on 50+ supporter made threads

the account i'm talking about isn't my sythe name, i do own the account SuckMeFagex though

Do you have decent stats? Like 120+ combat, 2100+ total, etc.?

High chance of P-mod, tbh. Just join an English J-mod clan chat and try to make some P-mod friends, etc.

 

ok, if my friend had several pmods she knew recommend me, about how long would it take to be considered + possibly contacted?

 

Maybe 1 day, maybe 10 year. Be nice to everybody, don't bot, etc.

 

If you have trolled in-game and on the forums that could put you back.

 

Don't report every player saying 'Fuck' or something.. Unless they spam A LOT.

When i became a mod before then they had sent me this letter about "Reporting tips" and about 2 weeks later they offered me a mod postion by my inbox in game and email.
I had a few good mod friends and my uncle is a mod too
Im level 127 p2p and still modding to this day.
