Go back to school kid. Learn about the slave trade, and learn about creation.Also politics is not your strongest point.

 

It's not that hard to answer that children question.

It's not about sex, it's about family.

North America/Europe: Money/pleasure > Family

Third world: Family > everything

Why? It's the only thing they have and it's probably the only thing they will probably have all life long.

Read the book "The White Tiger", you'll learn a lot about India and slums. This book has been written by an indian that lived in the slums.

 

We learned in World History, that they try to have more so they can at least have a son to live and provide for the family. Most of the family dies at a young age so they want to get a son.

Thats just the basics. I can't really go into detail as I slept a lot.

 

Having sex is natural. It's a deeply rooted, innate desire.

It's also natural for kids to starve and die in relation to the ammount of food available. That's how nature balances populations.

In developed countries, there's a huge supply of food that is easily accessible. Therefore, the population in those countries can feed children and grow and develop.

As long as the people have SOME way of surviving, their population will either grow or become stagnant. If the food supply diminishes, then the population will simply decrease.

Obviously, from our western point of view, we see that the children are suffering and we think that the parents are bad and all that. But in reality, it's all nature.

Anyway, as for your question, they don't stop having sex, because they don't want to. It's the human brain subconsciously telling the person to have sex in order to multiply, whatever the cost.

I know plenty about the European slave trade and the creation. My historical references are supported by both school books and the Bible. You failed to point out where I was incorrect. You merely implied I was incorrect and went along.

It is a problem, but restricting these people from reproducing would be hard. I don't really see any other way to solve it, honestly. Maybe it's because I'm tired >_< .

 

People shouldn't have kids if they can't afford to have one. It's like burrowing money, if you can't pay it back, don't burrow it at all. That's just an example of course.

I also don't understand why people want to have sexual intercourse a lot, as someone said in above posts "People like to fuck", why not just masturbate, it has the same feeling, and if people say "It's not the same, because there's a hot sexy beautiful woman with you", sure there is, but why not just go get a magazine or watch porn? I'm 16 years old right now, and I don't plan to have sexual intercourse anytime soon or in the near future. I don't care if I have sexual intercourse at all during my whole life time, if it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, who really cares?

My parents tell me that parents have kids to have their kids help them with tasks and what not. That may be true, but my friend tells me if you decide to have a kid, you better expect to dish out $500,000 for that kid from the day he/she was born until the day he/she turns 18 years old.

I have more to say, but I don't really know how to describe it.

Ultimately its the fault of the people from generations ago that saw their lifestyle crumbling yet did nothing to stop it or better themselves. They were lazy and now their children have to suffer for it.

Their society is like your house. You see you're house start to get messy and disorganized so you go and clean it up. The longer and longer you let the filth accumulate, the harder it's going to be to clean it up in the end. Your house is nobodies problem but your own. You may think, "This is too much to clean up on by myself." but your neighbor doesn't come over and help you. Why should we help those that won't help themselves?

 

I don't understand the question.

It's very difficult and nearly impossible for humans to progress significantly without a decent government. When you have practically no government (or a very corrupt one), there is no progress... and if there was any, it'd crumble.
Of course I'm not saying that they aren't completely blameless for their own state.

 

You just answered your previous assumption dude this is what they need in Third world countries.

Look at it this way we use South Africa as case study right about now its a shithole.

But look back at the time when it was colonized it was so much more civilized. The only problem was segregation. If only an agreement of western colonization without segregation & diversity could be put into place. Africa would become very very worthy with all those resources the GDP would be phenomenal.

 

I think Africa would have been phenomenal without western colonization completely. A continent rich in tribal culture.

Also, no pollution. Or at least, the continent wouldn't have advanced so fast as to become industrial, in relation to how the last couple of hundred years have played out.

 

This is also very true. I can only imagine but majority of first world county's relayed on colonization/Slavery to get where their at now, so think what if those events never occurred. The world would be so different
