How to get free e-mail on your website!

Hello and welcome to my guide! It is not great but I will try and explain as best as possible. I will upload pictures tommorow :3

    All you need is:

    A domain name (e.g. www.mydomain.com)

First go to Google Apps, go to: http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en-GB/group/index.html

and click the "Get started" button.

You will be taken to a page where you have to enter your domain name. Simply enter it in!

You will then need to fill out a simple form with some of your basic details.

You will now be able to create your admin account ([email protected])!

Now accept the agreement and you will get a page like this:

'Before you can begin using Apps, you must verify that you own the domain mydomain.com. This protects your domain by ensuring that only you can use mydomain.com with Google Apps.

Verifying your domain does not disrupt your current mailflow or affect other services.

To verify your domain, you must be able to do any one of the following:
Access mydomain.com's DNS settings at your domain host's web site
    Modify the HTML of mydomain.com
Upload a file to the mydomain.com web server

We can walk you through this process right now (recommended). Or, if you don't have this information available, you can skip verification and do it later.'

You MUST be able to down ONE of these things for the e-mail to work. Modfying the HTML is easy if you know what you're doing, but so is uploading a file.

I will add more to the guide and add pictures tommorow!
