Account Clean - Trial [Is it Safe anymore?]

    tl;dr - Jagex will look into your account's history, upon request, and determine who the original owner is based on ip logs etc. Once they decide who they believe the real owner is, they will wipe all past security information from the account and relinquish it to the original owner.

    Could this have an impact on the accounts market? It's not like people weren't able to recover accounts back before, but this seems like it just got a ton easier to do so.

    Is it safe to buy and sell accounts anymore? What do you think.

    I Bought an acc recently

    i used to be able to recovery it using a combo of the previous owner's info + the 1 i had


    i posted on that thread , now i can only do it using 100% info i got from previous owner.

    Account trading has never been safe.

    Were there is money there are scammers, were there are scammers there is money to be made.

    Sounds Ok, Just hope that it doesnt get Locked...

    Is it just me or can I see a lot more "account sales" to come?

    This is actually good for me in a sense that one of my accounts was hacked back in the day, may actually have a chance of recovering now.

    bad is

    a guy buys an acc and owns it for 3 months , gets 99s and makes money

    owner recoveries it , posts there , gets the guy who used it for past 3 month's info deleted and has bank loot lol

    how exactly would they do this? would they check the earliest IP address log in for the account? Im the original owner of my account and what if Im not at the original Ip anymore? If I do submit a request, what if they wipe out all the info and make it impossible for the ownership of my account?

    also, how exactly would they determine if you are the true owner? I mean i dont think IP addresses itself can prove that

    Lookout for a fast IP switch between countries. All my accounts are banned for 'Account Sharing/Trading'. Big shit. D:
