I did notice over the past few days limewire has been going slower. This must be the reason why. Honestly I'm not too happy about it, since Itunes decided to raise prices on music.

LOL are people really feeling sympathy for the music industry, the record labels that exploit artists and have enough money to buy towns. You don't have to worry about the music industry going out of business anytime soon, as long as there is a demand it will be here.

I've never used Limewire properly before, the first time I tried it, I ended downloading some random crap which gave me a few trojans and viruses. Since then I've only bought music legally, or got it from friends.

There are still plenty of torrent sites that people can use. Many people use torrents instead of programs like lime wire because people enjoy downloading albums rather than individual songs. This isn't really a big loss. Plus for people who are interested and rap & hiphop there are plenty of sites that let you download albums/mixtapes of the artist.

Everyone can still use frostwire, and you can sync your music with the program called winamp and it will make the music 10x louder & clearer:love:

    Its all about money...

Itunes is way to over priced if you ask me. Say its a $1 a Song yer thats ok if you Download a few songs but if your wanting to download All your Favs that would easy add upto 250 Thats $250 Thats alot of money for Young People its Unfair...

    Any way, GF. Nice Find

limewire died out like 3 years ago in my opinion.. it was just took too long to get what you wanted and there are quite alot of viruses on it. IMO, this will have no effect on the music/whatever business as there are plenty of other sources...

They do not have an indisputably fair case. Copyright laws in America are utter shit and need to be rewritten. Once you buy something, its yours. No one can tell you what you can not do with it. Thats complete bullshit. The multimedia cooperations are fucking rich as hell. They just want to make more money, that they honestly do not need.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to stop piracy. Impossible without government mandated censorship and even then it would be hard. If the government censors the internet, I'm moving to fucking Canada.
