if you honestly think goverment Weed will be the same as Cuban or Mexican your really out of it....

if the Bill passes its only because the weed will be a special kind that passed health regulations... in other words.. you wont be able to get high off of it just another cigarette

Are you fucking stupid? NO ONE WILL BUY IT IF IT DOESN'T MAKE THEM AS HIGH/HIGHER THEN THE CURRENT WEED THEY GET = PURPOSE OF VOTE.

That's like saying the government ended alcohol prohibition with non-alcoholic beer...

Ok Arnold Shwartasomething jsut signed a bill that decriminalzed weed statewide. You can no longer get a felony from weed, it's an infraction, like a parking ticket. So basically if it gets legalized it will go back to being liek that for people under 21, meaning it will be worse than what it is now. Since the bill was passed on october 2nd, no one can get a criminal record for marijuana, and no one can get cited for possession and go to a probation officer, etc. But if it gets legalized you will be forced to because it will be treated like alcohol which you can be cited for.

    So vote no!

So it should remain illegal because it can be abused? Is that fair for the millions of people who can enjoy responsibly? Is that worth keeping thousands of productive citizens in prison, which costs billions on the taxpayer and ruins lives?

I agree, that argument can be placed on anything- cigarettes, alcohol, fertiliser, cars, guns even the internet.

I feel that people that want to smoke can already smoke, and i feel that instead of funding bad organizations with drug money that money should go to the government so yes I support for legalizing it, and do know that I've never smoked and don't plan on it but heh the us is a free country so do what you want to your body it can't be any worse than cigaretes or alcohol

I watched the Union since the last time I viewed this thread, great documentary and provided lots of resourceful information.

It would be stupid for California to decriminalize it, and then not legalize it when they could be making money off of it.

I believe it should be legalized. Most of the prisoners are jailed for non-violent crimes and most of those non-violent crimes are drug related.

Although I dont personally smoke marijuana, I agree with you 100%, and believe that people should be able to do as they please when it comes to substances.

I am not a fan of drugs, but I heard weed is less damaging than alcohol? I guess it is just how you use it.

    Though, I am 50/50.
