Suggestion for Sythe Name Changing! READ!

could Sythe or another Admin please take time to respond to this.

 

Maybe only mods can get name change or people with over 1k posts.

 

But 100s of people getting name changes would mean 1000s of dollars for the site, which would be a good thing.

I regret using the name Shoopadoop, it sounds very childish if I could changebi would be willing to pay at least $50 for it.

 

I say no.

If people want their name change, and they donate for it, good for them.
But there's a lot of people on sythe, and if everyone does it. There won't be enough names for sythe to have, and it'll be overcrowded.

I completely agree with this.

 

I personally think that donors already have enough perks, and don't need another one added.

I think that if people want slight name changes, then it could be changed for a fee, which will go to Sythe to keep the forum running.

 

I thought we were only allowed to request aesthetic changes (feren silver versus Feren Silver).

Anyway, I don't support a name change system. Organized chaos, without the organization of course.

 

It would be nice to cut a few numbers off a name as long as it isn't taken.. *cough*

I don't believe so. Verts told me I couldn't have the first letters "b" and "f" couldn't be capitalized unless I was staff regardless of the amount I donated.

 

Cosmetic changes should be allowed, like, to remove the numbers, capitalize the letters. For the big donators or the old users although.

 

this is not going to get approved.

i have many sereral threads in the passed trying to get myself a name change and other but they refuse to change that rule.

the name change i requested was just to remove my numbers, and i even made the account 'pureown' to show that is want taken, but it was still turned down.

only mods are allowed to have slight name changes (symbols, numbers, single letters) to show professionalism

 

That kind of stuff is just petty imo, can the usernames Buba Fuzz and buba fuzz exist at the same time?

That seems like a fine list.

not sure about having to have it in your sig for a whole year? Maybe on your Profile Page for however long you'd like, as for having it anywhere else i dont think it should be as long as a year.
