Inactive usernames may be released for major name changes if the user has been inactive for at least 3 years

You don’t have access to the forum because you aren’t a donor. You would have to post your request directly on the thread you linked, not in Sythe support, and to do so you must donate a minimum of $5.

 

I would donate but it doesn't let me. And I'm paying a 12% fee to use the same payment method?

You have to use bond holders to donate when doing so for the first time. The reason for this is because many users would donate, then chargeback payments later on after they scam-quit. I believe after you donated once through a bond holder, you will be able to donate yourself using paypal, canceling out any future fees you would have had to pay via bond holder. View this as a necessary processing fee.
