For example Gold4RS has been proven to be an untrustworthy site on Multiple occasions If I were to be gold4rs I would have been banned from the site, so why not remove their add? Yes sythe does need adverts to pay for hosting etc but Im sure you could find another one I mean do you really need to support a company that has scammed multiple people out of accounts money etc, including myself?

If you have any proof against any of the companies advertisers on sythe feel free to post here also be sure to vote on pool.

I fully agree, they've scammed me also. I don't think their going to be removed because of ad money but at the end of the day its just a write off and they get to profit from our users by scamming them on multiple occasions.

And what do you suggest replaces it? Another Runescape RWT site ad that you assume does not scam?

If you're willing to pay for the losses that would occur due to this, then I support. If not, no support.

They have personally scammed me twice so I am full support to removing their adds but the problem is they bring so much income in for the site and it's hard to get that amount of cash from some other advertiser. If we could find another company that would do it then I would be all for it though.

I don't support a complete removal, but I do support sythe at least punishing them for their wrong doings. Maybe under their add have a TWC, if they want it removed they have to work with sythe, and pay back the people they have scammed.

They aren't doing us a favor, sythe gets them good business. They're disposable.

Unfortunately all these sites will scam once the price is right, and they will sit there and lie about it afterwards. I've been so called 'hacked' Twice since I've played rs both times were while buying gold. Limit the amount you buy and they they wont scam as they like to build up trust with you. I wouldn't use most of these business's if my account already had 100M on it.

Anyway, back to the point. Although these sites do scam as far as I'm aware they haven't filled in any TOA, towards following the sites rules(correct me if if wrong about this) I came to this conclusion because members of this site can't buy the ad space's. I think with this said they are fine how they are, there are plenty of trusted members here on sythe you can purchase items+gold off.

I understand that it would mean a little less money for sythe but look at it like this If I was a sythe member and donated $500 and was proven to be scammer I would still be banned regardless of how much money I've given to sythe so why should advertisements be any different????????

I vote no because the ads generate revenue for this site and I myself have never been scammed by them so I don't have a problem (others apparently have been).

Because after the advertisers *scam* they're still paying money to the site.

Also, a great majority of the *scams* done by gold sites are really just the buyers fault. Most normal companies protect buyers from their own stupid mistakes, however these sites don't.

Most of them have sythe accounts, none of them are punished. For example usfine had or still has "idk really" a manager named Claire she was brought up in tons of scam reports and wasn't punished or at least TWC'd.

Basically that's like saying if I made a RWT site and payed Sythe for advertisement, I'd be given a scam all you want card. What happened to banning users for off site activities?
