Some clarity from Staff?

There has just been a recent surge in attempts at catching vaders and the like. And with the new tools implemented that facilitate this, I imagine all things are being uncovered. Minor issues that current staff didnt know about lead to assumptions, and errors, which after the fact are corrected when there is a mistake. Don't see the need for yet another drama thread. They messed up, made it right, and admitted the mistake. Lets move on?

 

IMO there has been too many misunderstood bans recently, so it's not just you. However, twice is a different matter.

 

All they can do is apologize.

 

Everyone makes mistakes. They are mistakes because they are unintentional. Be a bigger man and forgive them.

 

I am 100% with you on this... For me cjmt905 I also feel targeted. When I requested ban it took admins/global's 5 weeks to unban me; even though I had fixed my problems shortly after request. Then spyke banned me 5 minutes after unban and now my next dispute has been sitting there for 2 weeks now. Abstruse has Pm'ed Mods multiple times and I have had conversations with Skele and FireZ and both of us have been ignored. Its seems as if they check the thread then go do something else. Its unfair & it seems like we have so many Globals and nobody is really active. I don't see why they will even take the job if they can't fulfill it.

We don't "target" certain people......even if we do we have to have legit reasons for bans so theres no problems...

 

I'd like to see some comments from some staff, not the newest recruited ones though.

 

You have a banned account attached to your IP and you expect us to just overlook it without taking action? You claimed that Pen knows about this incident and has already sorted it out with you. He doesn't remember, so you've actually been lucky that we've given you the benefit of the doubt. No one has a problem with you.

 

You were banned with legit information. The ban was 100% warranted.

And you can keep your BS opinions to yourself, as with your quote above.

 

Finn already answered your question. You are asking to be banned with that attitude.

 

You have to take it into context. With the info we had it was 100% warranted. Finding that archive link made it unwarranted.

Almost every misban has been warranted. Links etc etc can prove them to be false though.
