Third world reproduction

So I'm baffled to the reason why these people in these third world countries mass reproduce. I don't understand because their already in poverty neither do they have resources to give safe delivery. An average family could have average 8 children living in a shack?


Its pretty sickening.
What could be the solution to this.

 

Even though Africa has the biggest amount of people with HIV aids they still continue to have sex and reproduce. Couples in India living in slums with more than 8 children having sex?

What are these people thinking

 

Its because its so different than here.
There are no cops walking on the streets the whole day.
Girls get raped by older men all the time and they have no such thing as "proper" abortion.

 

I'm pretty sure the mass reproduction is not primarily due to rape but just them having sex.... cause most are couples... who have like 8+ children. which are brought up starving... and with disease.

 

If you ask me, they deserve everything they get. There is no reason to reproduce if you cannot even properly provide for yourself. To me, the question is "where is the common sense and intelligence of the people living in these third world countries?"

The people living in third world countries are not doing very well. We know that and they know that. They've known it for hundreds of years. There are places in the world that are easier to live than the places they choose to call their home, places with more natural resources and better opportunities for the individual. Now why, if they know that they live in a shithole, don't they do something about it? Instead of standing around in the desert all day bitching about how theres no food, why don't they move somewhere that there is food? their ancestors have lived there for hundreds of years in the same poverty as them and their family. How come nobody in their society took some initiative and said "Hey, this place is a shithole, Lets live somewhere that we don't have to suffer."?

Look at developed society. In order for us to be where we are today, someone had to have taken some initiative and made a change to better. Examples would be: Migrating to an area with better food supply and more steady access to necessities, Setting up some sort of governing body, or choosing to plant these crops for money instead of those crops. the only thing that differs between developed society and third world countries is that somewhere along the side of developed society, people decided to start making things easier on themselves. Instead of living in places where theres no food, we move to new places and develop a new and/or better way to acquire food. Instead of living in the sticks and wearing clothes made out of grass, We developed more comfortable clothes and better homes so that we can live better. The developed half of society saw that there was a need for something, and acted on it to change things for their family to come. The poverty stricken half of society never did anything to help themselves. Their ancestors lived and starved in a shit hole, and because they didn't do anything to better their society, that's how it is going to be for their kids.

A solution for this is to not give a fuck. If they live like shit and don't do anything about it, that is their problem. It's not fair to the kids that they have to be born into poverty but what do their parents expect if, as stated before, they never did anything to help themselves.

The best thing we can do in my opinion is separate them from the rest of society. Do not let their way of life corrupt everyone else and dissolve our way of life that OUR ancestors worked so hard for. Do not let them benefit from the hard work of others. Make them realize that it is their way of life that causes them to be in those circumstances.

 

Thats your opinion but I was just trying to justify why they continue to reproduce when their already in poverty. I believe in helping the less fortunate as much as I can. Together if the worlds people could support one another we would accomplish miracles.

That's the mindset that causes this problem. I wouldn't have a child if i could not support it. Bottom line.

That's true, But how much can the part of society you're talking about actually do to benefit anyone? They can't even benefit themselves enough to get out of their terrible conditions.

What's your justification then? Mine is that they're too unintelligent to know any better.

 

That being said we have to support them and stop this vicious cycle. As they will only grow up to be like their parents, but with our help for example education we are looking at lawyers doctors.. and get them back on their feet so they can run their own society.

You still never gave your justification as to why they do what they do. And how exactly does that benefit anyone but the people putting themselves in the poor situation. If you feel that they need help and that we should let them mooch off of the society that we built for ourselves, then lead the way. But by helping them as much as they expect, we are only further perpetuating the ideal that they don't need to change their ways and the ways of their ancestors.

8 kids is ridiculous, and the guy that risks having kids when he is already living in a poor situation is an idiot.

Birth control is not so easy to get, or religions they practice do not believe in birth control. Also, as mentioned before, sex is good, its a natural process, so they do it, and dont think about the consequences that happen afterwards. Thats what I think anyways.

 

This is actually interesting.
I have wondered about this exact thing multiple times. I have come to the conclusion that when people commit sexual intercourse in such countries, they do not have the money to purchase the appropriate protection to make sure babies are not spawned.

But I think people do this anyway because it is enjoyable and since poor people have little/no pleasure they must use what they have.

But after 2 children even in the most wealthiest family's its a hassle let alone 8+ children sharing a shack with no food. So they don't really care about how scared their offspring will be from birth.

How many times do you need to be reminded that its not a practical option.

 

It's because the more people you have working, the more they will bring in. Child labor is common in many third-world countries. So kids can start working at very young age and put food on table at the end of the day.

 

they don't go to school.. they don't have enough education to know that having kids is avoidable (condoms etc.) however i guess the 'eviler' families sell the kids to pedophiles and slave labour industries.

 

It's ironic, isn't it - the more you can sustain a family, the less children you have.

 

Africans are a society of morons. There are cultures from 4000 years ago that were 100 times more sophisticated than Africans are today. African Americans try to bring this culture into America in modern forms such as hip-hop and other garbage that only serve to drag down the developed structure of modern first-world society. The worst thing the founders ever did was bring Africans as slaves to the Americas. Slaves helped boost industry in the beginning, but then it was one of the leading causes of the civil war and is one of the major causes of modern governmental headaches.
Ultimately it's the fault of government. A country can't progress without a stable government. Third-world countries are proof of that, look at their government today and in the past centuries.
