There's more notable rappers, but these have always been my favorite emcee's. It's a shame there was no room to list Dead Prez, Ill Bill, Special Teamz, Q-Unique, Royce Da 5'9, Jay-Z, or Crooked I. Vinnie Paz would definitely be right under Vakill. With the new shit, I don't even think Eminem deserves to be on that list, but I guess that's why I said "Infinity" he was fire on that album. "I'll run your brain around the block just to jog your memory." West Coast G-Funk is good too, such as BG Knocc Out, I like Bone Thugs too.

Tupac is overrated, his lines were simple, before his death, he was just another rapper climbing through the charts. Don't even mention Notorious. You can't compare a pear to an orange, or a poet to a gangster rapper.

 

How is Lil Wayne not even mentioned on anyones lists? Think of his lyrics real close and tell me how hes not top 10 ha.

ehh i have to disagree with lil wayne, the game, jay-z, snoop, and drake i dont think they are even worthy to be mentioned on top 10. lil wayne just raps fast, his rhymes dont even make any sense. go listen to stuntin like my daddy and compare that to Nas's the message

lol your welcome, i fell that a lot of modern rap lost it's meaning and rappers are competing for only the money. Out of all the modern day rappers, i really like lupe fiasco and kid cudi.
