RIP PayPal?

Basically, when will PayPal be back up? I got some cash burning a hole in my PP account. If I don't spend it on Sythe, I may just end up buying a cheap e-hooker and getting herpes, and then spending thousands of dollars on medical and psychological attention over the next five years.

 

Lol'd. Hopefully soon, though. Since Spyike is gone, there is no PayPal donations. I hope to donate more in the future, unless PayPal donations will be discontinued.

 

Will be a while before a replacement for Spyike is found, I suppose.

 

I have sent a serious PM to Sythe/Matthew about setting it up again, and have gotten no response from them sadly.

 

Wernis had a service like this, I think.

what spyike did was gave sythe cash ahead of time and donations came into his paypal he would tell sythe to officially count that money as donated for that specific member. So spyike and sythe would never deal in paypal they'd deal in cash and as the donations came in paypal he would tell sythe to give them donors rank with that amount of cash. So spyike basically took the risk of accepting paypal trades instead of sythe.

Could I sign a legally binding contract and receive the donations in advance? I doubt I have the amount of money required that isn't going towards college...

I suggest to add Liberty Reserve as a way of donating, if disputes/chargebacks is what they're about with PayPal.

I think konner is just taking the piss... anyway rip paypal might just have to spend my money on some shit account.

 

Konner if you aren't serious, I'd look into doing it.
But the process is you wait until you recieve about $300 via paypal, then send all of that money to Matthew, that way if someone reverses payment, it's on your ass.
I would like someone to do a cash mail-in feature, as i doubt I'm trusted enough for that.

 

Thanks for the positive words.. I'm still floating here and there however taking on donations without moderator powers is something I would not consider. Sure there will come a day perhaps I'll be requested to return as a Global.
