    Explanation of the trade: used a middleman from sythe , sunnykfc , gave him the funds and then yungb proceeded to give me details and transfer to my email and delete the email it was created on because he said it has his phone number attached still so only way to proceed with sale is to delete the email after it has been transferred over to my email
    How they scammed:sold me an account that he has been selling and recovering and has been warned by Jagex and then effectively my luck it has been banned after a day of having it he has never disclosed this info with me and after I have told him about this he said he will sort it with a diff acc or a refund and didn't and now ghosting me

    I'm not seeing anything stating that he's liable. Do you have a thread of his of where you found this account? And also what proof do you have that he's been selling, recovering and reselling this same account? Can you post the login email?

    he has no tos or nothing stated about this he knew it was a cheap price and tried to flog it as possible because he knew it was dodgy acc pm me on discord for more screenshots

    The screen shots you provided only show that the account was banned after it was in your possession for breaking the rules of buying/sharing accounts. How does this show that the seller was recovering it and reselling? I searched the name on sythe and haven't come across a sale as well.

    because in one of the images of where it says the reason it has banned for they have “clear evidence of selling and recovering the account and despite warnings carried on to do so “

    I only had the acc for 1 day and the day after he sold it me transferred the email it got banned. I actually can’t believe the scammer has won this , do you think it’s fair that you buy an acc off someone and then day after it gets banned ? . Genuinely baffled to see how i am
    Liable for this when I didn’t even have 24 hours access to the account . The reason we transferred the email to mine was because he still had his backup email and phone number on the orig email and couldn’t delete so only option was to delete the email. But looks like the scammer has won so no point now

    Just because he sold you something and you bought it knowing it was against the rules doesn't mean that he's a scammer. He said in the chat logs he was making a new account and that he could maybe work something out with you, but i'm not going to make him repay you for an account you bought and it unfortunately got banned afterwards. If we allowed that to happen, then people would be allowed to make disputes for buying gold and getting banned afterwards, or even people who bought accounts 'x' hours or days afterwards who got banned for 'x' reason. In the future I'd recommend coming up with a TOS that fits your desires, such as; if the account get banned for 'x' reason a refund is to be paid back and ect. Though both parties would have to agree.
