Making MM proofs private

Ok well I was setting up my mm application when I noticed that I was waisting alot of time trying to edit out secret info so the public couldn't see when I thought of this idea.

Why not make part of each MM application thread private so that you and others staff members are the only ones that are able to view your proofs. I mean do people really need to see your proofs, I mean all your friends need to do is vouch in your application thread they don't really need to see your proofs.

anyways just my opinion what are your thoughts?

I see your point but is it really worth the hassle that the applicants have to go through editing every single convo/pic

 

The biggest thing here is we have to be able to see the entire thing to evaluate it and possibly some may only give a vouch if they like how you do it.

Editing screens doesn't take that long usually and the application process is long as it is so a few more minutes doesn't hurt.

 

You would still need to hide the information about the account even if only the staff can see it. How do you know the staff won't try and recover it?

 

The staff would still be able to see it and the only relevent user vouched would be in the form of proofs?
