Account Sharing

This is the correct answer. I'm not sure why people are still discussing this.



Basically, there are two sides to account sharing. The first side is a black mark, which is when you say "Lawl I share my account with my friend" and a mod hears you or you were reported for it. This offense is only a mute and a small tick on the "right ban pillar." The only chance of anything serious coming this this is if you are already in the red from swearing, staff impersonation, etc. In this case, you will get permamute, not a ban.

The other side of account sharing is the IP flipping. This will only result in a locked account. Jagex can't assimilate enough evidence with only IP logs to ban you (and they have no other forms of evidence, since they can't use MSN logs, sythe posts, etc.). If they catch you sharing from different IPs, they just lock the account under the pretense , "Lol we thought it was stolen, sorry bro." Just get the original owner of the account to file the unlock appeal and you can continue on sharing like Mr. Fuzz has done.
