Guide to Free GPs!

A few methods of easy moneymaking I have discovered.

1. Buy Eclectic Impling Jars, open them, and sell all the items, including jars. Current price: 1,708 and stable atm.

Reasoning: Based on the chart on this page, the odds of you coming out in the positive are very good: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Eclectic_impling_jar

2. Buy Logs and Stripy Feathers. Cut Logs > Arrow Shafts + Stripy Feathers > Headless Arrows. Sell.

Reasoning: First of all, requires 1 fletching. Buying Logs and cutting them grants a profit of at least 16 gp per log(based on current G.E. prices. Arrow shaft 7gp ea, Logs 89 gp ea at max price. 7x15=105). You are already making a profit by cutting Logs into Arrow Shafts. Add Stripy Feathers, currently at 12gp ea. Headless Arrows sell for 27gp ea in G.E.
PRICE CALCULATOR: 200 Logs/3000 Feathers: (17,800/36k)53,800gp. 3000 Headless Arrows: 81k. 81,000-53,800= 27,200.
53,800/27,200=50.5% Profit!
In addition, 4k fletching xp per 3000 Headless Arrows.

3. Merchant Dragon Scimitars. Buy at ~97k, sell at 100k.

Reasoning: Often Dragon Scimitars sell at 100k instantly. Personal experience merching over 200 of these. Downside is bad % of return.

I have tried the d scim merching.
Its a good source of cash at first, but then ends up becoming a hassle.

 

Impling jars.

It looks like all junk, but everything but the watermelon seeds and the beers sold instantly at mid.

 

Okay guide, rather basic stuff but pretty helpful for people who are completely new to the scene of runescape. Out of the options you listed number 2. is probably the quickest and most stable.
