Requested ban due to a paypal issue.

 

I don't understand why people who are mods step down, then ask for a perm ban because they have personal issues.

If you don't wanna go to sythe block it on your firewall.

 

Some don't have the self-control to keep away... I know in the past I haven't, even when faced with a deadline for schoolwork the next day. Sometimes a ban is the only thing that will stop them - adding it to your firewall just means you are still potentially able to get back on again.

 

Also its done for protection of the account, so nobody can hack it etc etc

Tofurocks is an example of someone having no self-control - he had to change his password to random gibberish so he could never log back on, and he still hasn't to this day.

 

When I decide to take a break from moderating eventually I will also be permed until I feel the need to come back. Hopefully thats not for a long time though.
