How do people get special ranks?

Like the "Zombie" or "Cracker Head" or "Crabby" ranks? It was just a question that popped into my mind randomly.

 

An Administrator hands them out for whatever reason.

 

Adding to what pisao said, you can also be a real good staff member and get one for being a good staff member

 

Also donations, or post guides most the time.

 

What special ranks can normal members get besides donation ranks?

I think usually for people with higher posts who tend to help people out in their posts without managing to spam every post they do get something like this. Also sometimes a 'Staff Favourite' gets something like this on their name but yeah, Mainly from people helping out around the forums or having trusted services with TONNES of vouches or something.. You get the idea?

 

Wish I had one of those custom ranks.

Well most are given by admins and donators don't really get anything but saying we donated.

 

Yeah i was thinking i haven't seen any donators with other special ranks? and im quite fond of that Zombie rank

 

I can do a custom rank but idk what I want since it has to have the money stack.

I thought they were old ranks that simply are not given out anymore.
