I would update this to add DM. It has always been successful for selling/buying in my experience.

Do you have any evidence to support this claim?

 

It's pretty straightforward, Jagex developed GE (and other Free Trade Removal features) as a way to measure ingame wealth transfers, initially to ban them, but later when they reverted the change, tracking was still possible.
Nowadays high wealth transfers are definitely detected (if I recall you can even see the amount of wealth transferred in the GUI, so it's not even a secret).
Whether they ban players based on this info I can confirm because I saw at least one false positive ban (quickly reverted) for a player that was actually trading items with not up to date ge values, can't remember if 3rd age or newly released items, but it caused a wealth transfer to be registered which resulted in a ban.

 

i got a pretty foolproof method running that is 100% safe and have fine with it for a while. i shall release it when the time is right, in the not so distant future.
