How can I cheer her up?

Okey, so a friend of me broke up with her boyfriend in August. She haven't gotten over him yet, and today she went on his facebook and saw that he deleted him as a friend. It made her feel even sader and now she's like depressed.

How can I cheer her up? I've never had girlfriend problems etc. So I really have no idea what she is going through.

So I'm asking you guys for help. How can I make her feel better?

    Thanks for you help guys:)

The guy was obviously an ass hole. All he was gonna do was mess her about anyway. Tell her that everything happens for a reason. Theres 6 billion people in the world. I'm pretty sure there's another man out ther for her that will treat her the way she should.

Just listen to her and support her, ask if she wants to do something like go the cinema or go out with friends, if she doesn't wanna do friends then just keep it to you two, she must like you alot.

Comforting and telling silly jokes may put a smile on her face, But hug her and tell her she'll be alright and that its not the end of the world.

Just keep her occupied, invite her around to your house and watch or a movie, tell her there are waaaaay better people than him, say "do you really think a nice person would do that to you". Just give her a good time :)

Buy her some flowers. Not like deep red roses or anything, but more like something vibrant that gives her the impression of friendship. Attach a nice note saying something briefly along the lines of how you are there if she needs you. It'll do the trick, at least temporarily.

This. She misses the relationship she had with the guy more than the guy himself. She'll be feeling lonely.

Just be there for her to talk to about anything. Hey, if you like her, great opportunity.
