Hey guys I was browsing for old wilderness vids and stuff. You know just getting more pissed at fagex when I came along this article. I have no idea whether there is any truth about it but it says it comes from the CEO. Also was poster on August 29th, 2010. Can anyone verify whether this article has any truth to it at all?

I know thats what Im saying but I just looked into it. Now I didnt find anything about old wilderness coming back but I did find that Mark said they are working on making new servers that come with cheat codes, so there is no need for RWT. So what I'm guessing is they are going to bring back new wilderness with possibly item cheats so you dont have to work or buy them and can just spawn them.

 

In the white, bold font it says, "Runescape wilerness was removed is 2007 for high RWT down to illegal activity in China"

Seeing as the author has the writing skills of an autistic 6 year old, I highly doubt it's credible.

 

but it also says this
Mark officially said. "Now that Rwting is illegal in China, we feel that runescape is now safe for trade limit to be dropped and for the players to feel the true experience of Runescape"
And i dont see how they could post that if it weren't true you know?

 

If Wildy was returning, I believe JaGeX would announce it on runescape main page.

 

Please, show me where Mark actually said that. You're putting your trust completely in the credibility of this site, which as I already stated, doesn't look all that credible.

Well maybe since its probably not coming back for awhile they havent announced it yet. Maybe they are just putting it through development still , probably with those cheats in those worlds?

Yeah well that was his opinion, the other guy posted actually what seems to be quotes from the CEO of jagex so they are totally different, but I understand what your saying.

 

JaGeX stated that they will make RSC servers, that you can change your skills & spawn items in them. They will also be open to anyone.

Also, what is wrong with the recent wilderness, or rather, BH worlds?
I find it very much like wilderness, except for the drops of course, but sometimes they can be very nice indeed :love:

What I miss, are Duel Arena and unlimited stakes, and also unlimited trade limit.

Where did they say that...? That sounds absolutely pointless.

 

You could try browsing the old news on RuneScape page to find it.
It has been mentioned several times like a year ago.

 

IMO i doubt its true, but who knows?

 

They made a post about selling RSC private servers to make some money, this was early this year I think. You know when they were losing shit loads of money cause of their stupid updates making players quit and banning mass amounts of botters.

OP: If this were to be real then I would jizz my pants but I doubt it.

 

It would be announced on the official site first rather than an article on a random site that doesn't look the least bit credible. Yeah, it would be cool if it came back but it's not. End of story.

I've come across this site before too, and I'm pretty sure the authors are just kids that pull these articles out of their ass in order to get hits. Not to mention the site looks really messy and unprofessional, so I wouldn't take anything written on there too seriously. Also, I'm pretty sure this type of news would be all over all RS related websites, and it wouldn't be first announced on a crappy blog by someone called "HARRYSAYSWUT".
