Guy get's his XP Reset!

Saw this dude in a clanchat complaining about how he got 92 Woodcutting and it was reset to 81?

So I looked and sure enough somehow his woodcutting was reset to level 81... Wtf?

You can look for yourself, this is not fake :O

i'm almost maxed in hard to get skills
and i've never botted. if they reset it back i will fucking quit

 

Im pretty sure they'll only do it to the botters.

 

it was mentioned as just a glitch on previous threads, he was just clarifying within this thread that it wasn't a glitch and in fact intentional.

kinda silly but eh. i think it was for those that had botted, but didn't want to be banned so they asked to have their levels decreased back to their original state or w/e. don't take my word for it, ask around some more.

Same here. This is retarted like RSC's system of resetting your levels.

 

It's better than getting a perm ban, no?
I like this new system. Levels can always be botted back up.

What do you think would happen if you got reset at 99, but you were wearing the skillcape? That would be epic.

 

This is slightly concerning considering that I'm a heavy user of bots. I wonder if Jagex is really going to pursue a new endeavor to wipe out bots?
