2010 Halloween Event - Discussion Thread

I'm definitely going to do this, the bone brooch looks amazing. It's basically like the Easter ring.

 

this is one reason a lot of people did not like the event. people who had the easter ring already think its unoriginal and jagex was too lazy to make something and put it in at the last minute. others who weren't here when the release of easter ring, are glad it is in the game now

what some people don't understand (that were upset about the item) is that it was voted on a few months ago on a guarenteed contest poll here:

In other news, just as i suspected, ring of stone is dropping.

 

i liked the bone reward i use it with my clan it rocks at runite ores ;p + Good for hiding d claws

 

Yeah, holiday events have gone downhill, or I've just found the game less enjoyable

Will probably have to do the event this weekend, tho ;d

i enjoy doing the events, even more than getting the reward. ever holiday event i make sure it is done on all my accounts

 

Gah, I remember the '04 Easter event along with '04 Halloween event.
They took like 5 minutes MAX. Example, in the Easter event, you were given a basketful of chocolate eggs, and you had to spread them to other people. When basket was empty, the Easter Bunny gave you a Rubber Chicken, easy as a pie.

Not even talking about the '02 - '03 events, when the items just spawned onto ground.

No 30 minutes of "razzle-dazzle" for a crappy reward.

 

I really don't see the point in wasting 30 minutes or more, just for them rewards.

 

I wan't to go get the reward but I cba to take a hour trying to figure the damn thing out lol :laugh:
