    lol it's not authentic it is missing many names that would be there such as

    Darth mal
    stoneddragon
    lavitz
    l6vi
    broly lssj

    the reason I know this is because darth mal was my first account, I then made an account named brolly which I realized I spelled wrong so I made broly lssj and the other 3 were friends\family which all started before me. which means this list is void. It does have a large number of some of the first people but is definitely not legit.

    Umm, it's definitely legit, you aren't top 2000 unless you can prove otherwise... shhh.

    I don't think people worried about rare names 10 years ago...

    lol who are you? other than some random kid who plays rs private servers lol. only the first several are legitimate first players the rest however is fabricated I have been playing the game since a month and a half after it came out. I'm sorry you believe a fake name list which can't possibly be put together unless you're part of jagex. An has never been confirmed by jagex in any way shape or form. but it's nice to know there are still gullible and ignorant people in our society.

    This is awesome! I just took the time to read through them, although I was not one of the first 2000 to join, I was fairly close :p I do recognize several names on the list, great find!

    If I'm not mistaken this happened because everybody had the same xp in some skill and the highscores showed the first (2000, that's how many the highscores showed) accounts in order of registration.

    So yes, there is a way to have the list without being a member of Jagex and yes you are a fool (calling him gullible and ignorant? What a fool.).

    This list was the highscores for an RSC skill you couldn't gain XP in (can't remember which) and the highscores list was sorted in registration date as everyone had 0 xp. However, inactive players weren't shown on the Highscores, therefore the list isn't accurate.
