Very good point about the YouTube thing. Might change it a bit later.

I just don't see why this rule was put in place... I know plenty of SE'rs that are nice to talk to and very mature.

Threats should be eliminated, not permitted.

If a notorious scammer comes onto Sythe, I think we have every right to deny him/her access, not let him/her commit another crime.

This I can agree with, but how about someone that decided to try and phish an RS account and succeeds? Should he be immediately banned because it was off site?

Wrong, if they haven't committed a crime on Sythe you have no right to do so, that's like another State in the US not allowing a person in because that said person has done something in one state of which is legal there but illegal in the one they are trying to go to.

Understand that the most trusted of trusted have been banned for this. Changing this rule would force Sythe to go through a ton of ban reports for users who were banned previously for this offense.

What would happen if I was to fall that phish on youtube? My runescape, sythe msn, etc, etc, would be hacked and the person who distributed will get away with the crime.

    This is Sythe's private property.

You're relating private and public property. Sythe has every right to do whatever he chooses, even deny you access to his site.

If murder was made legal in Minnesota, and I murdered someone (in Minnesota), then tried to go to Wisconsin, do you think they would just be okay with that?
They have every right to stop me, a murderer, from entering their state.

Excuse me while I go scam thousands of dollars on another site, but that's okay, I didn't do it on Sythe.org.

Phishing and keylogging/RAT'ng is not the same thing. You would lose whatever the phish was targeting.

Ex. A Runescape phisher phishes Runescape accounts, not MSN accounts.

Now, he could send you to a driveby, which would then infect your computer. Even so, they choose to do so. As long as they don't post it here, they should be allowed to do what they choose.

If he's a scammer from, let's say, .org, Sythe has the choice(if he knows it is him) to allow him to stay on the site. It's up to him.

If it's applied now, that doesn't mean he has to unban everyone that has been banned for it.

SuF I know you argued on my behalf in the thread I recently made so you know I agree with you 100% about this suggestion.

If you scam on a another site and valid proof is presented of who you are on sythe then you should be banned even if scamming isn't breaking a rule on the other forums. (isn't it everywhere) Discussing or actually doing phishing/keylogging and that kind of stuff on a another site where it is acceptable shouldn't warrant any kind of punishment on here as it is not negatively affecting sythe in any way.

I was on a rant so there are prob some mistakes.

I agree, what happens else where should stay there, unless it is very major.
