So I just started my freshman year on the wrong foot. Here are my grades
    English- D+
    American History 20th- A
    Geometry- C
    Science- A-
    Modern Technology- B-
    Ms User 1- B-

So my estimated GPA at the moment is 2.9 right? It's the first marking period and it ended on Friday.

How can I get all As and Bs in the seconds marking period? Can you guys give me some tips and study habits. I get distracted easily and don't my homework most of the time and do it in 1st hour.

Well what I'm typing this on now is the largest distraction. The distractions in school are my friends. Most of the time I'm just too lazy to do my work thinking I can get away with it by finishing it in 1st hour. If I'm at school and don't do my work I usually think of doing it at home but what turns out is that I don't do it at home. So what I've noticed is that if I don't do my Geometry homework, I do it in first hour which is English 9 making me not pay attention in class getting me a D+.

Honestly, just stop using the computer for entertainment/networking until you can maintain good grades. It'll help you tons in the long run.

It's great to have friends and all, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be focused during class. Talk with them during breaks and lunch, not in class.

Try and motivate yourself to do it well and at home..no matter how much you don't feel like it. You'll have more time doing it at home and can concentrate better with no computer/friends around you.

EDIT: Stop procrastinating to the amount in which you're finishing an assignment minutes before school starts. You're bound to procrastinate, however, to that degree isn't too good.

You and I share the same problem, lol. But the thing is, when you actually get in to a habit of doing your homework on time, it is such a big relief off your shoulders, and it feels amazing to know you can enjoy the rest of your time worry-free.

This reminds me of myself when i was at school i just fucked around thinking i didn't have to do any homewore/Revision, I used to literally do nothing in school and usually just have a laugh and a joke with my friends the whole day.

I've left school and If i could go back I'd work 100 times harder than i do now, Seriously STICK IN and get it done I know it's hard and you'll be thinking 'I'll just do it late' and so on but trust me just get it done you'll feel better by the end of it.

Why not do your homework while on Sythe? It will take longer, but you'll eventually finish it. This is what I did in High school, because I was addicted to Runescape.
    Get better friends.
That's not really our fault and only you can change that.
